Want to study an open course and see what it’s like? Here are some suggestions to get you started:
1. Explore available open courses in different OER repositories. For example, you can look for courses using the OCW Consortium’s course search, or check out any of the projects highlighted during Open Education Week.
2. Join a featured study group at OpenStudy using OpenCourseWare and learn about Solar Cells, Applied Multimedia, Capital Markets, Sanitary Engineering, Fundamentals of Clinical Trials, Thermodynamics or Human Resource Development.
3. Check out a peer-directed class at P2PU – why not start with the School of Open?
4. Looking for a class on Open Education? Open SUNY has one on Locating, Creating, Licensing and Utilizing OERs – OER101 – free and open to all.
There are lots of options. Explore more of them through the project showcase and start learning!
